Artist's Comments

This was originally part of a picture I took of a cat somewhere in the general vicinity of the Shitamachi Museum in Tokyo, Japan. We were either just outside of the place or on our way there (but that was last summer so I can't quite remember...). I thought this part of the picture looked interesting on its own, so I cropped it out. Reminds me of something that I can't quite put my finger on.

I believe that we were right outside or on the way. As I recall there were quite a few kitties out in that area. :3

Yeah, it was really close. There were a lot of cats in that area in general, I think. ...I basically just rephrased everything you just said. XD

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were. They looked pretty well-off for strays though.

Hah, probably XD Or else they just drop themselves in the middle of a panto-maimu (or whatever it was called) show or something...but that one didn't look too well off.
